TV is a complicated and expensive business. These days satellite and cable plans have to compete with dozens of streaming services, so it can be hard to know what programs you need and which ones are pointless. That is why Live Net TV exists.

After step one, you should have the Downloader visible as an app on your main menu.

Simply go back to the Downloader app and follow the URL that we directed you to input in step two. This is a good reason not to delete the Downloader app. Some updates for Live Net TV will be installed on their own, and some will be installed when you are prompted to install them.
But some will be installed and break the application or not be capable of installing themselves manually. Regardless of the reason, it will usually be fixed by reinstalling the Live Net TV app.

This is a bit more complicated, but if you already have a VPN on your computer, then it is the best way to use it for your FireStick. Start by going to the Settings screen of your FireStick.
Click on the My Fire TV again, but this time click “About” next. Then click “Network”, which has no business being that hard to find. This is where it gets really tricky. Take a picture of the information it gives you on the right. IP Address, Gateway, etc. Record all of it.
Then, click the remote button and hit “forget this network.”
Click on the connection again. It will ask for an SSID (basically your password). Rather than entering it, click “advanced.” Enter the IP Address, Gateway, and then either 24 or 32 for Subnet Mask. Then, it will ask for your DNS. Your VPN will tell you what to enter here.
It will ask for two DNS settings. One will be your modem’s while the other is your VPN’s.
